Exterior Services In-Depth

Exterior Wash

Products

  • Adam’s Car Wash Shampoo

  • Adam’s Mega Foam

  • Adam’s Waterless Wash

  • Adam’s Glass Cleaner

  • Adam’s Bug Remover

  • Adam’s Strip Wash

Process

The car is first thoroughly rinsed with a pressure water to ensure all loose dirt and debris is initially removed without touching the paint. Next a layer of foam is applied to the wet paint and allowed to naturally pull off dirt using gravity. The car is then thoroughly rinsed again. Using a rinse bucket with a grit guard and a separate soap bucket, a wash mitt is used to clean each panel rinsing in between. We ensure to work from the top of the vehicle downward. This minimizes the dirtier lower parts of the car contaminating the wash mitt, and potentially causing micro-scratches or marring on other panels. Straight strokes are used to prevent circular scratches - the most visible to the naked eye.

Wheel Detail

Products

  • Adam’s Wheel Cleaner

  • Adam’s Eco Wheel Cleaner

  • Adam’s Tire & Rubber Cleaner

  • Adam’s Tire Shine

  • Adam’s Tire Armor

Process

Each wheel is detailed individually from the beginning. An initial rinse aims to remove as much unbonded road grime and brake dust from the wheel face, rims, barrels, and fenders. Depending on the composition of the wheel, a cleaner is applied and allowed to work. A collection of carefully selected brushes to not damage or scratch the rims is used to scrub the face, barrels, rims, lug nuts, and more. The wheel is then rinsed, and the process is repeated until spotless. Finally, the tires are scrubbed until all blooming is removed, rinsed, and applied with a tire dressing. A protective sealant is added to the rims if specified.

Decontamination

Products

  • Adam’s Iron Remover

  • Adam’s Visco Clay Bar

  • Adam’s Medium Clay Bar

  • Adam’s Detail Spray

Process

Following a complete exterior wash, the car is evenly sprayed in a coat of Iron Remover. This chemical is allowed to work on the wet paint, taking care to not allow it to dry. When the chemical has been sufficiently worked, the car is rinsed to remove all the chemical. The car is then fully clay barred, panel by panel in straight motions to minimize swirl marks, using Detail Spray as lubricant. Once the car is completely smooth to a touch and all iron and tar spots are removed, the car is rinsed and dried.

Protection

Products

  • Adam’s Buttery Wax

  • Adam’s H20 Guard N Gloss

  • Adam’s Detail Spray

  • Aerospace 303 Protectant

  • Adam’s Tire Armor

Process

After the car undergoes a complete exterior wash, a layer of protection is applied according to specification. If the car has been strip washed removing all old wax, Adam’s Buttery Wax is applied by hand to each individual panel. If the car has a layer of robust wax, a synthetic sealant Guard N Gloss is applied to add extra protection and shine. Aerospace 303 is applied to all exterior trim to revive color and protect from UV radiation. Tire Armor is applied to wheel materials to keep stubborn brake dust from caking on.

Engine Bay Detail

Products

  • Aerospace 303 Protectant

  • All Purpose Cleaner

Process

Modern engine are designed to encounter some water, but strong pressure can wedge water in where it’s unwanted. Using a traditional garden hose with a shower setting, low pressure water is used to rinse the entirety of the engine bay safely. We also ensure to never work on a warm engine. Appropriate parts are sprayed with an All Purpose heavy degreaser to attack caked on grime and dirt. A selection of boars hair brushes are used to agitate dirt off surfaces, and followed by a rinse. Each component is meticulously worked on until the bay is spotless. Things are rinsed once again and dried. Finally, plastic and rubber parts receive protectant to revive color and keep things maintained.

Interior Services In-Depth

Vacuum & Carpet Detail

Products

  • Adam’s Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner

  • Drill Brushes

Process

Vacuuming seems pretty boring, but when car detailing it can become pretty intense. Depending on the quality of carpet, dirt and debris can be lodged or caked in vacuum fibers and requires sufficient attention to bring things back to a new look. The car is vacuumed in individual sections to ensure not a single area is missed. Once loose dirt and debris is relieved, drill brush techniques and cleaner may be utilized to dislodge dirt and grime to be vacuumed up. This process is repeated on each section until it appears as close to new as possible. Finally, seats and trim are vacuumed with a detail brush to pick up large debris.

Trim & Seat Detail

Products

  • Adam’s Interior Detailer

  • All Purpose Cleaner

  • Leather Cleaner

  • Adam’s Glass Cleaner

Process

Trim & Seat detailing relies heavily on how delicate the interior materials are. Depending on the level of dirtiness and material, trim pieces receive interior detailer, a stronger degreaser, or leather cleaner. These products are worked into the surface materials with boars hair brushes, taking special attention to agitate every area and crevice. This loosens up dirt and grime, which is then wiped with clean microfiber towels to reveal an immaculate finish. Buttons, center console areas, and screens are taken with special care to not over saturate and damage sensitive parts. The same process is repeated for seats and their individual components (Arm rests, seatbacks, headrests, more). Finally, glass and mirror surfaces are wiped to a streak free finish with soft microfiber towels to prevent scratching.

Mats, Door-jams, compartments

Products

  • Adam’s Rubber and Mat Cleaner

  • Steamer

  • All Purpose Cleaner

  • Interior Detailer

Process

Mats started off with a powerful rinse to knock off caked on dirt and debris. Next, they are saturated with a cleaner, and scrubbed with a drill brush to ensure there is no leftover grime. Another rinse is used and allowed to dry. Door-jams are steamed and applied with a strong degreaser to remove grime in intricate places. Boar’s hair brushes are used in areas with small details to ensure even the smallest areas look like new. This includes door joints and weather protecting materials. Compartments are emptied and organized into bags for your convenience. They are then cleaned with detailer or degreaser depending on severity, until they look indifferent from the factory. This ensures you never touch an old piece of gum in the center console again.

Protection

Products

  • Aerospace 303 Protectant

  • Adam’s Leather Conditioner

Process

Each plastic and leather surface is applied with Aerospace protectant in sections to ensure full coverage and protection. This product revives color and promotes longevity by protecting from damaging UV radiation. Leather conditioner is applied to all leather and allowed to absorb, and then wiped. Conditioner is essential to maintain soft and supple leather that doesn’t crack or become discolored. It also leaves behind a satisfying soft-to-a-touch feel so you’re sure things are in the best shape. Both products provide exceptional dirt and water repelling properties so that you don’t only clean your car, but make it harder to re-dirty.
